MOSIRA

Dear Legislators,

Missouri Right to Life opposes MOSIRA without the pro-life protective language of 196.1127.  Since reporting requirements are already in the Missouri constitution, adding them to MOSIRA doesn't add anything that we don't already have.  As an analogy, would you rather prevent funding for abortion or have reporting requirements?

In addition, if the life science industry doesn't want to do research involving human cloning and embryonic stem cell research, then they wouldn't oppose the language of 196.1127.

With the makeup of the Missouri House and Senate, we believe this is a great opportunity to take steps preventing public funding of human cloning and embryonic stem cell research.

Missouri Right to Life asks for your help in putting the pro-life protective language of 196.1127 on any MOSIRA stand alone bill or amendment.
