Information From Pro-Life Workshops

Dear Legislators,

Thanks to those who were able to attend the workshops on pro-life issues focused on the advances in adult stem cell research.  We believe it is important to be current on the advances in cures and therapies with adult stem cells so that we can ensure that our resources are expended for ethical research that is making a difference for patients.
 
We are inspired and strengthened when we hear stories of medical advances from people with debilitating diseases and injuries who are benefiting from therapies with their own or donated adult stem cells.   

We are attaching links below to information from Dr. David Prentice, PhD with the Family Research Council, that was discussed in the workshops. We are also attaching a link to one example, a You-Tube Video of a "Skin Gun," an amazing treatment for burn patients using their own adult stem cells.  
  
Thank you again for your willingness to learn about the difference between adult stem cell research, human cloning and embryonic stem cell research.  

As the session moves forward, Missouri Right to Life will work to ensure that state dollars are not used for human cloning, embryonic stem cell research or abortion services.  We look forward to working with you on these and other pro-life issues.
